Bay Food-ing

SF / -ish
The long-awaited friend-recommended dim sum:

A really pretty spot; if you end up going to that dim sum place, it’s super close. Also, where else do you have a super pretty museum, whose parking lot has a trail down to the ocean?

Maybe you’ll run into my elderly aunt and uncle closer to San Mateo:

Eat your ice cream and people-watch at a pretty / hippie park (Dolores Park):

Shrimp Burrito! Or, any burrito. (Open late)

Home of the speakeasy trend

East Bay
The noodle shop that’s known me since I was four

Taiwanese food; they have stinky tofu! Also, adjacent to a porn shop, in case you get bored.

Sample hella delicious expensive liquor for $10-15

Oakland’s first Michelin-starred restaurant; super super delish, great if you want a fancy / interesting meal

Commis’s chef’s new casual dining restaurant; if you go, let me know — my friend is a cook there and I will insist he make you something extra delicious

Road-Tripping North
Oyster farm! Eat / shuck / imbibe on the bay!

If you do go to Hog Island, stop here on the way and get Red Hawk (smells like… tastes amazing)

Pliny the Elder is a great IPA

Healdsburg is a great little town in which to go wine tasting, and also has a nice brewery
